RETHINK Folk Music is an international project, which opens up culture and the common folk music heritage we have. A heritage that is both unique to each country, but also become something common because we all have a musical heritage.
RETHINK Folk Music revitalizes folk music through camps and workshops for Danish and international folk music students. The students become 'music archaeologists' and search for forgotten local tunes, interpreting them and sends on the 'baton' (the rethought music) to students in a new country and so on and so forth – and hereby revitalized and rethink the music in a modern context. RETHINK Folk Music lacked a visual identity and a variety of campaign elements to communicate the vision and the concrete activities.
